Student Ambassadors will be responsible each year for planning and working two events in your city or on your campus (preferably in a student union, high-traffic area or major festival/fair). They will hand out flyers, tell people about megabus.com, and be in charge of our prize wheel game ? where people can to spin and win a t-shirt, koozie, pen or free tickets for travel on megabus.com in exchange for collecting their email address.
Student Ambassadors will be in charge of hiring and supervising 3-4 other students to help run events, and they will be expected to report to megabus.com the results of each event.

- Media relations – track media coverage, update media lists
- Event management – assist at press and marketing events, facility openings, receptions, meetings
- Vendor coordination – research, gather costs, manage
Qualifications: - College junior or senior, working towards a degree in marketing, communications or public relations, preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong writing skills and a familiarity with AP Style
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be a motivated self-starter with a good attitude, and organizational and time management skills
Time Commitment: At least 15 hours per week, schedule to be determined based on availability
Semester: Fall 2012 with the potential of extending the internship
Compensation: The internship is a paid position
