Description

Delta Dental is the largest dental benefits carrier in the Midwest and among the largest in the country. We are currently seeking an Intern in our Corporate Communications department. The position is located in our Okemos, MI headquarters location.

Position will produce graphic designs for a variety of projects including print communications, digital communications, PowerPoint, and multi-media presentations.

Delta Dental offers paid internships $10-$12/hour, flexible schedule and a business casual dress code.

Qualifications

Student pursuing degree in graphic or commercial art or a related field; experience using computer graphic design tools. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), word processing and presentation software on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. Motion graphics, Flash, Web design and video editing skills highly desirable. Project managment skills; analytical/problem-solving abilities; effective verbal and written communication skills; attentiveness to detail, excellent proofreading skills and creativity.
