AVAILABLE POSITION: Marketing and Communications Internship

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, regular business hours.

Approximately 10 hours per week.

JOB SUMMARY:
Grove Gallery Co-op is seeking an outgoing, innovative, creative individual who will help our gallery in marketing and communications. This individual would put in a minimum of 10 hours per week, this would include attendance of our staff meetings held every Friday from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. Intern should show initiative and be proactive in the following: marketing the gallery, highlighting guest artists, contacting local newspapers for upcoming events, posting current events on related websites, community networking and outreach, scheduling publicity events, creating postcards, posters, and literature, updating a gallery blog site.


REQUIREMENTS:
*Course work and/or majoring in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
*Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Photoshop and other design programs.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
