Fall internship with the coolest startup in the world

Warning: If you are really serious, don’t smile and aren’t open to new ideas you might as well stop reading this.
• What: Fall internship with the coolest startup in the world
• Who: Michigan State students
• When: Fall semester (and beyond)
• Why: Because life’s too short to have internships where you get coffee & fax documents! Remember, just because you are a young student doesn’t mean you don’t have value to provide.
• About: remind101 is a website that sends students text message and email reminders before their assignments are due. Started by a recent MSU alum, remind101 is launching full scale at Michigan State this Fall!
• Who we’re looking for: Students who have endless energy and passion about learning, starting companies, gaining real world experience and want to work on an amazingly cool project. We don’t really care if you have a 4.0 GPA and are on the honor roll (but congrats). We care about students who have real world experience. But, it’s ok if you don’t…we can help with that too!
• What you’ll be doing: Marketing, social media, sales, PR, writing, design… Oh My! You’ll work hand in hand with fellow Spartans, the company founders and the web development team to market and launch the company.
• The low down & what we like:
o Large Social Media presence is a plus!
o Public speaking a positive, we’re here to help
o Allocate 5-10 hrs/week to work
o Personal drive and passion about startups/marketing/social media
o Excited about the remind101concept
o Independent and ability to work on their own
o Hands on opportunity to make a big impact on a fast growing company
o Trust us, we really, really want to pay you. The founder (Brett) had a few internships (unpaid) and knows what it’s like. But we’re a startup!
