 Position: Marketing and Communications Intern 

Department: Marketing 

Location: ZF Group North America Operations

Position Summary: ZF marketing intern will support the day-to-day activities of the marketing department, including regional corporate and product marketing communication strategies and programs. 

Responsibilities: - Writing – releases, advisories, memos, newsletter articles 

- Marketing – ensure corporate and product brand governance and outreach across all regional locations, assistance with trade shows 

- Media relations – track media coverage, update media lists 

- Event management – assist at press and marketing events, facility openings, receptions, meetings 

- Vendor coordination – research, gather costs, manage 

Qualifications: - College junior or senior, working towards a degree in marketing, communications or public relations, preferred 

- Minimum GPA of 3.0 

- Strong writing skills and a familiarity with AP Style 

- Ability to work both independently and on a team 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) 

- Must be a motivated self-starter with a good attitude, and organizational and time management skills 

Time Commitment: At least 15 hours per week, schedule to be determined based on availability 

Semester: Fall 2012 with the potential of extending the internship 

Compensation: The internship is a paid position
