Stella & Dot jewelry

You may have already heard about Stella & Dot jewelry created by our New York based design team, coveted by celebrities and featured on Gossip Girl, in Lucky Magazine, In Style and Cosmo?

This could be a dream internship in fashion and social selling for your students.  They’ll get hands-on, resume building experience learning real-world skills in marketing, sales, e-commerce, public relations/speaking, and fashion merchandising while earning a great income.  They must apply and be accepted to this program to be eligible for training, incentives and financial aid.  If they are enthusiastic, tenacious, self-disciplined and eager to engage in sales, this might be the opportunity for them!  Please visit our site to read student profiles of success.

Earning potential?  Our stylists earn an average of $300 at a 2-hour trunk show.  Stella & Dot stylists decide how much they earn by how much they work.  Simply, they earn 25-30% of your personal sales.

How interested students can get started:

ü  Find  application online
ü  Brainstorm potential hostesses for first 4 shows.  Think friends, family, sorority sisters, and classmates.
ü Indicate on application who referred them to STEP – me
o   Andrea Drouillard
o   Stylist ID:  137586
o   Andrea.drouillard@gmail.com
ü  Submit application with a copy of student ID
ü  Schedule a phone interview

Once accepted, the cost (tuition) of the program is $199 for your starting materials.  I earned my investment and MORE back after my first trunk show!  The “tuition” includes marketing materials, training (printed and online), step-by-step business guide, $350 in free jewelry and 50% off any additional samples you want to purchase to build out your business!

I hope you’ll share this opportunity with your students.

Best,

Andrea Drouillard – Independent Stylist

Face to Face Matters

If you are digging social media for business use, and if you are sure you are going to be around MSU for at least another year, and if you have (or expect to have by May) your New Media Driver's License then consider this possibility:

From: Jack Pyle (Independent Consultant and Executive Coach)

I'm looking for an intern who wants to become proficient at inbound marketing (SEO and social media marketing.) I've been studying this over the past four months and it is working. Visits to my website have increased from about 20 a month to nearly 400 last month, up 74% from the previous month. I have been sick this month and have done no social media marketing, yet my website visits are up 40%. Once you get the ball rolling people keep coming.

I want to spend most of my time developing my leadership communication content into podcasts, videos, webinars, articles and short ebooks. I will help my intern learn to do these things as well, and aid me in promoting them online.

Initially, I am unable to pay an intern, but as the income flow picks up, I will pay an hourly rate of $10 and increase it as income increases. I also am willing to pay a percentage of income in the future.

My approach with interns is to provide mentoring, establish productivity goals and give autonomy, so that the intern can work at their own pace and make their own decisions about their work flow to achieve agreed on results.

General Sports Internship

ABOUT GENERAL SPORTS

General Sports and Entertainment is a multi-faceted sports and entertainment firm with a national reputation for excellence. General Sports was founded with the notion that the most effective way to build a successful business is through developing
strong, sound relationships. We are convinced that there is no better way to build strong relationships than through the power of sports and entertainment.
General Sports was founded by Andrew D. Appleby, former Senior Vice President of the Detroit Pistons and Palace Sports and Entertainment. Over the course of 12 years with Palace Sports and Entertainment, Andy turned relationship building into an art form. His experience taught him that stronger relationships could be built by spending one night with clients in a suite at a basketball
game than through 10 dinner appointments. That is the power of sports and entertainment.

At General Sports, our mission is to use the power of sports and entertainment to help our clients build relationships with clients, customers, employees and the community. The objective of our mission is to help our clients increase profits and grow their business. We pledge to pursue our mission with professionalism and integrity, and by setting high performance standards that challenge us to excel.
Our two greatest assets are our talented executive team, comprised of experts from within the sports and entertainment industry, and our own ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients. It is our policy to cultivate and nurture our relationships with clients through accessibility and open communication, creativity, energy, and an intensive bottom-line
focus on our clients’ goals, objectives and values.

Our clients work with us because of our expertise in customer service and building relationships, because we offer the strongest networking opportunities in the sports and entertainment industry, because of our experience in negotiating and marketing from both sides of the table, and most importantly, because of our ability to maximize the value of their sports and entertainment investments and grow their business. Let General Sports bring the power of sports and entertainment to your bottom line!
