2010 Snyder-Lantz Strategy Internship

If you have the right stuff,
you could be selected to participate in the
2010 Snyder-Lantz Strategy Internship (in support of Children’s
Trust Fund of Michigan and Prevent Child Abuse, America)
April 5-8 evenings and the morning of April 9 (20 hours)
Only Excellent, Upper-Level or Graduate (M.A.) PR or
Advertising Students Need Apply

This is a chance for no more than a dozen advertising or PR students to work as strategy
interns with Wally Snyder, the Past President of the American Advertising Federation,
and member of the US Advertising Hall of Fame and Mark Lantz, one of America’s
great independent advertising strategy consultants, as they attempt
to design a "brand manifesto" for America’s child abuse neglect and prevention
movement.

Student interns will work as a team with Visiting Professors Lantz
and Snyder helping them make a case that could eventually become
an AD  COUNCIL national campaign to reorient America’s thinking about child abuse
and neglect, and how to get every American engaged in prevention.

The internships will occur in the Communication Arts and Science Building
over the evenings of April 5-8. The internships can be entirely voluntary, or taken for one
credit if the student chooses.

This will be a tremendous resume-building experience.

Successful interns will receive a resume-ready certificate memorializing their selection as a 2010
Snyder-Lantz Intern from the Chairperson of the Department of Advertising, Public Relations,
and Advertising, Michigan State University.

Students interested in competing for this opportunity send a 50 word elevator-pitch
and your resume to Jaimee Mayfield, Graduate Assistant to the Chairperson,
Department of Advertising, PR, Retailing --Mayfie17@msu.edu.

Your application must be submitted by 10 pm, Wednesday, February 24 to be considered.
You snooze, you lose.
